Coating adhesion tests, in addition to measuring the thickness and visually assessing the appearance of the coating, are one of the basic methods of assessing the quality of paint and metal coatings. Unfortunately, all three methods described below damage the coating, which is why we recommend performing them on so-called witnesses. They are most often performed on structures before renovation in order to determine the possibility of leaving the old coating or one of its layers.

We carry out adhesion tests using the following methods:

• Cross-cut testing (ISO 2409 and ISO 16276-2)

• "X" - cut testing (ISO 16276-2 or ASTM D3359)

•  "PULL OFF" (ISO 4624 and ISO 16276-1)
